About Me

Aaron has been in the product development field for close to 10 years. He has worked on projects ranging in diversity from iPhone cases to medical devices to solar power equipment.

During the course of employment at various engineering companies, Aaron increasingly became aware of the need for a stronger integration between engineering and design aesthetic. In June of 2009 he bridged that gap by founding Pipeline Design & Engineering.

Pipeline provides product design service focusing on the mechanical design of a wide variety of products, and works closely with established companies as well as individual inventors. Product renderings have come to play a significant role in effectively marketing themselves as an ID/ME design & engineering firm.

Q&A

How long have you been using Bunkspeed products?

I have been using Bunkspeed products (Hypershot, HyperMove, and now Bunkspeed’s Pro Suite) ever since founding Pipeline Design & Engineering in June of 2009, so coming up on 3 years.

What do you most enjoy about your Bunkspeed product?

I love the ability to show clients a realistic image of what their product can look like. It’s wonderful to be able to produce several versions with different colors, textures, and materials so quickly. People like pretty pictures, and the Pro Suite allows me to create them.

How do you light your images?

In addition to engineering, I’ve been doing photography professionally for several years, and coming from that background has allowed me to make great use of the flexible lighting options in Bunkspeed products. The vast majority of my images are lit with simple black/white HDRI backgrounds, and I will often supplement these with custom light panels placed strategically around the subject.
